Staking Referral Program
Overview
The Staking Referral Program rewards users who refer new GX stakers. When a referred user stakes GX, the referrer earns a bonus on top of the standard trading referral rewards.
How It Works
- Share your referral link (same link as the trading referral program)
- When your referred user stakes GX tokens, you earn a staking referral bonus
- Bonuses are calculated based on the amount staked and the duration
Reward Structure

| 1,000 - 9,999 GX | 1% of staking rewards earned by referee |
| 10,000 - 99,999 GX | 2% of staking rewards earned by referee |
| 100,000 - 499,999 GX | 3% of staking rewards earned by referee |
| 500,000+ GX | 5% of staking rewards earned by referee |
Key Rules
- Staking referral bonuses are paid in USDC (same as staking rewards)
- Bonuses are separate from and additional to trading referral rewards
- The referral relationship is permanent
- Bonuses are calculated on the referee’s net staking rewards (after any validator commission)
- If the referee unstakes, bonuses cease during the unbonding period
- Referrer bonuses come from the protocol treasury allocation, not from the referee’s rewards
Example
- You refer a user who stakes 100,000 GX
- Their annual staking reward: approximately 16,000 USDC (at 16% APY)
- Your staking referral bonus: 3% of 16,000 = 480 USDC/year
- Plus your trading referral rewards from their trading activity
